& C Racing's first ever primary marketing partner was Kodak.
The team participated in many dealer appearances and special promotions in support of Kodak and spent many a weekend setting up displays with the race car at Kodak retail outlets throughout the Los Angeles area. Here the Kodak Film Camaro is pictured at Boulevard Camera on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica.

Coughenour founded began his driving career in 1987 after spending his
entire life as a fan, pit crew member and overall racing fanatic.
This was the first ever C & C Racing stock car, a Pontiac Ventura that competed in the NASCAR Sportsman Division at Saugus Speedway. |

In 1988, C & C Racing debuted one of the fastest and most beautiful race cars to ever compete at Saugus Speedway. This state-of-the-art race car was very competitive during the 1988 season taking Ed Coughenour to his best finish of his young career, a third place. | |
